Military Service

Staff Sergeant in the United States Army: served 8.5 years.  Service included 3 combat tours; 2 in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan.  Honorably Discharged.

I received three Army Good Conduct Medals.

Graduated from Professional Leadership Course and the Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Leadership Course. 

1st term of service was in Vicenza, Italy where I deployed as a special weapons gunner with the 2/503rd Airborne Battalion.  Completed a combat jump into Iraq and received an Army Commendation Medal for service.

2nd term of service was in Ft. Campbell, KY with the 101st Airborne Division where I was selected to the Recon/Sniper Unit.  Served as a Recon/Sniper Team Leader and received an Commendation medal for service as well as a Bronze Star Medal and a Commendation Medal with Valor for my actions during combat missions.

3rd term of service was in Ft. Lewis, WA. with 2nd Infantry Division where I was selected to the Recon/Sniper Unit.  Served as a Sniper Team leader in Afghanistan where I received an Army Commendation medal for service.
